For what purpose do we process your data?

Insurance brokerage and consultancy in insurance matters:
In particular, preparing and concluding insurance contracts; assisting in the administration and fulfilment of insurance contractual relationships, in particular in the event of a claim; customer administration and customer support; fulfilment of contractual and legal obligations, and to safeguard legal interests.

Which categories of data do we process?

Contact information and personal data (name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, gender); identification data (ID data, vehicle data, vehicle registration number, policy number); correspondence; financial data/account information (bank information, collection data on insurance contracts and claims, data on creditworthiness and assets when appropriate); documentation data (claims numbers, expert opinions, damage photos, correspondence, official records, judgements); health information (in connection with life, health, accident and comparable insurance contracts and in connection with claims, insofar as a declaration of consent has been provided); other personal data (e.g. marital status, employer, etc.).

 

How long do we store your data (storage time)?

If we have a contractual relationship with you, the data we collect will be stored in compliance with all technical and organisational security measures. If the contractual relationship with you is terminated, your data will remain stored at least as long as statutory regulations for documentation and retention periods require or as long as limitation periods for potential legal claims have not yet expired.

 

To whom do we disclose your data (categories of recipients)?

Personal data will only be disclosed to the extent absolutely necessary for the purposes of contract fulfilment or claims processing or within the framework of legal obligations.

Possible recipients may include: in-house forwarding, in particular to customer and contract administration, benefits department, accounting, customer advisors; insurance companies; vehicle registration offices; vehicle registration service; claims adjusters and other persons entrusted with claims settlement; processors and other service providers of the data controller, e.g. IT service providers, tax consultants, lawyers, authorities as necessary, etc.
